Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated October 15, 2026
This policy explains how payments, refunds and cancellations work for brands on Creator, operated by Creator Software Inc. It summarizes Part II of our Terms of Service. If anything here differs from the Terms, the Terms control. Managed accounts follow their own written agreement.
1. Summary
2. Joining and posting
3. Subscription and free trial
Renewal. The Starter plan renews automatically each month until you cancel. You authorize us to charge your payment method at each renewal.
Free trial. Eligible new accounts may get a free trial for the period shown at checkout. If you do not cancel before it ends, the plan starts and your card is charged.
Cancelling. Cancel any time from Settings → Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep access until then. Deals in progress, content review and creator payouts continue as normal.
No partial refunds. Subscription charges are non-refundable once processed. We do not refund partial months, unused time, unused features, or months you forgot to cancel.
4. Wallet deposits and the service fee
What the wallet is. Money you add to your wallet is used to pay creators and bonuses on Creator. It is not a bank account or escrow, does not earn interest, and cannot be transferred to another account.
Service fee. The 15% service fee on each deposit is earned when charged and is never refunded, including if wallet funds go unused or a deal is cancelled.
Withdrawing unused funds. You can request a withdrawal of your uncommitted wallet balance by emailing billing@joincreator.co, but only when you have no active deals, creator payments owed, pending bonuses, open disputes, chargebacks or other balances. Withdrawals go to your original payment method, exclude all fees, and may take up to 10 business days. We may delay a withdrawal while we check for outstanding obligations or fraud.
Committed funds. Money committed to a deal, earned by a creator, or shown as owed is not refundable or withdrawable. See Terms Section B6 for details.
5. Deals, content approval and creator payments
Committed funds. When you accept a creator and fund their deal, that amount is held for the deal and cannot be withdrawn or used elsewhere until it is completed or cancelled.
Cancelling a deal. If a creator has not submitted anything by their due date, you may cancel the deal and the funded amount returns to your wallet as credit (not to your card). Once content is submitted, a deal can only be cancelled through the dispute process.
Approval. You have 10 days to approve content or request a revision. Content not reviewed in time is approved automatically. Approved content and released payments are final and non-refundable.
Products. Products you ship to creators for a campaign are not returnable unless your campaign says otherwise.
6. Cancelling a campaign
7. No performance-based refunds
8. Billing errors and chargebacks
Billing errors. If you think we charged you by mistake, email billing@joincreator.co within 60 days of the charge with the date, amount and what went wrong. We will correct any confirmed error.
Contact us first. Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank. Disputing a valid charge (subscription, service fee, used wallet funds, or payments released to creators) breaches our Terms and may lead to account suspension and recovery of the amount plus dispute fees. This does not affect your right to report a genuinely unauthorized charge.
